When you set your clocks forward, don’t forget to replace the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms.

✅ Replace the batteries when you change your clocks
✅ Test the alarms after replacing batteries
✅ Replace the entire smoke alarm if it’s 10 years old or older (check the date on the back)

Working smoke and CO alarms give you the early warning you need to get out fast.
