| Today, 11 members from Station 118, along with members from Hobbie Fire, Nescopeck Fire, Hunlock Fire, Shickshinny EMS, and Medic 95, participated in Geisinger Life Flight Landing Zone Training.
Crews reviewed how to safely establish and operate a helicopter landing zone during emergency incidents, including scene safety, approach and departure areas, communication, and coordination with flight crews.
Members also went over emergency procedures in the event of an emergency involving the helicopter.
