Thank You for Supporting Station 118!

The officers and members of the Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 would like to sincerely thank everyone who came out and supported our event.

We are especially grateful to all of the vendors who generously donated a portion of their proceeds back to the fire company.

One donation, however, truly touched our hearts.

Young Sarabelle donated over $100 from her sales.

When Chief Stephen McDaniels accepted her donation, he asked her one question:

"Why?"

Her response was simple, yet powerful:

"Because I know how difficult things are for volunteer fire companies, and it's important for me to give back to the people who give up so much."
Those words are a reminder of what community is all about. Sarabelle, your generosity and kindness are an inspiration to us all.
