Engine responds to morning Structure Fire

At 0554 hours, the first alarm assignment was dispatched for a reported structure fire at 187 Pond Hill Mountain Road in the Pond Hill section of Conyngham Township. Ambulance 518 arrived first and reported smoke showing from the residence. Engine 218 arrived shortly thereafter and reported smoke and fire showing from the front of the structure. Crews battle two-alarm barn fire in Conyngham Township
Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company, November 12
Crews were dispatched at 22:41 hours to 387 Pond Hill Mountain Road in the Pond Hill section of Conyngham Township for a reported fully involved barn fire. Engine 118 responded with a crew of four. Upon confirmation of a working fire, Chief 118 (McDaniels) requested the second alarm to be transmitted, bringing additional engines, tankers, and manpower to the scene. Crews Respond to Four-Vehicle Crash
Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company, November 07
Engine 1 arrived on scene to find a four-vehicle crash with one reported injury. Fire crews secured the scene and provided hazard control while assisting other responding agencies.

Mutual Aid Response For Wires Down
Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company, November 06
Mocanaqua Fire Company Engine 118 was dispatched as mutual aid into Union Township for an electrical wire down on fire caused by a fallen tree.
Upon arrival, E118 found an active fire in the roadway caused by arcing power lines. The crew immediately secured the scene, closing the roadway in both directions. The electric utility company was notified, and PennDOT was advised due to damage to the roadway ... (Full Story & Photos)

Crews respond to vehicle accident.
Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company, October 30
Crews just cleared the scene of a vehicle accident involving a school bus on Pond Hill Road in Mocanaqua. Upon arrival, units found a rear-end type collision.
