Engine 118 and Brush 118 responded to Firehouse Road in Conyngham Township for a brush fire. Crews arrived to find approximately one-quarter acre burning and quickly brought the fire under control.
We remind everyone to use caution with open burning. While it may not seem overly dry, the top ground conditions are very dry, and fire can spread quickly.
