| Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched for a reported vehicle fire in the area of State Route 11 near the boat launch after Luzerne County 911 received multiple calls reporting a working vehicle fire.
Engine 118 arrived on scene and found a pickup truck fully involved. The engine crew stretched a 1.75-inch attack line and began fire suppression operations. During extinguishment, crews encountered a running fuel fire after the vehicle’s fuel line had burned away.
We are happy to report that there were no injuries on location.
